There are two Artesian Well locations, south east of the starting game zone, in the desert, introduced in Update/04.26.2013. They can be upgraded three levels, all granting a higher increase to the Population Cap and a total of 3500 resources.

A total of 170 assets are needed to complete construction of the Artesian Well. This is equivalent to 170  if one were to buy every asset instead of waiting to receive them from neighbors.

These sites are one of two resource building types that are built in the center of the desert. The other being the Gas Power Plant.
