The Beach is a location just to the west of the starting game area, at the mouth of the river.
A game update on April 22, 2014 changed the statistics of this construction project. Thus if you purchased the beach for 90,000 prior to April 22nd please jump down to the "Beach Before April 22, 2014" section. The appearance of the beach was remodelled on 07.18.2014 and is available when you start constructing the beach after this date (you can start over). The images on the "Beach After April 22, 2014" section illustrate the current model.
This section describes the beach after the 04.22.2014 update. One big change from the earlier version of the beach that many users have already completed is a reduction in both the cost of purchasing the beach and the assets required to build it.
Note: if you already purchased the beach prior to 04.22.2014 but you haven't completed construction, you will still be completing the pre-04.22.2014 version below, and not the new version. Thus this section is both as a reference to those who have outstanding stages of this version of the beach and for historical reference.
A total of 35 assets are needed to complete construction of the Beach. This is equivalent to 36 if one were to buy every asset instead of waiting to receive them from neighbors.
This section describes the beach before the 04.22.2014 update. It's important to note that if you purchased the beach before this date that all the following will apply, even if you didn't complete construction. The final stage is identical in terms of and , but not in .
A total of 91 assets are needed to complete construction of the Beach. This is equivalent to 101 if one were to buy every asset instead of waiting to receive them from neighbors.

TIP If you sell this version of the beach and re-purchase it, you will be given the newer version above.
There is a slight difference between the handheld client and the Facebook game after building the Level 3 Beach. On Facebook, a jet boat animation speeds around the mouth of the river, while on iOS/Android, there is nothing.
