The building was removed in January 2020 as part of the production reforms of the update. Although the Homewares Store takes over the basic function of the building, tasks requiring a contract to be accepted at the Household Goods Store are now unable to be completed due to the Homewares Store not having taken over the exact contracts of the Household Goods Store.
