The Experimental Desalination Plant is a fixed location north of the playable area on Tourist Island. It was added during an update on 08.06.2013. Two additional levels were added during on update on 02.06.2014.

A total of 270 assets are needed to complete construction of the Experimental Desalination Plant. This is equivalent to 270  if one were to buy every asset instead of waiting to receive them from neighbors.
