Winter Games is a Timed Quest in which the player has 192 hours to build and upgrade a total of 3 areas and 1 building with assets leading up to Winter Olympics-related rewards. It was released as part of an update on 01.17.2014. It was followed by The Winter Games in Megapolis timed quest.

"Make Megapolis a center of winter sports! Build a Winter Games Village, bobsledding and biathlon trails, and a Media Center. Get your residents excited about winter sports!"

"Megapolis needs to develop and popularize winter sports. The latest studies indicate that these sports are extremely good exercise! The best way to drum up some interest in winter sports is to hold the Winter Games in Megapolis!

"The residents beg the mayor: hold the Winter Games.

"It's time to get Megapolis ready for the Winter Games! Build a Winter Games Village, bobsledding and biathlon trails, and a Media Center. Make Megapolis a winter sports capital!"

Your residents would love to vacation in the Rocky Mountains, and many of them might be open to trying new sports like downhill skiing or curling!

Stage 2 - Winter Sports

Megapolis needs to develop and popularize winter sports. The latest studies indicate that these sports are extremely good exercise!

Tasks:

Save up some money and start large-scale sporting goods production in Megapolis.

		Accept the Sporting Goods production contract (at a Household Goods Facility in the Rocky Mountains) Costs: 500  and 8 hours (does not need to be completed) Gives: 5,800  and 43  upon completion

In every neighborhood, on every street, every resident of Megapolis should have a chance to play sports!

Plant the Grove so your residents can have a place to go skiing, and make sure you tell your neighbors all about how important it is to develop sports!

Additional Gift

Users that have completed the "Winter Games" Timed Quest received a gift on their first visit to the Megapolis (Main) game zone after the 01.28.2014 update.

Users that have not completed the timed quest but who have/still are extending the quest time will receive the gift when they first visit the Megapolis game zone after completing the quest. (assuming the user keeps extending until the quest is complete)
