Unique/Special Buildings are offered under limited circumstances and are not available for purchase from the store. These include buildings that are available for one-time purchase upon reaching certain Experience Levels, as rewards for completing Timed Quests, as bonuses for purchasing megabucks in Megabuck Specials, or Holiday Events. They also include buildings that Social Quantum has removed, at least temporarily.

These buildings are provided as bonuses for purchasing using real currency and are not available otherwise. Each collection of three buildings is only available for a limited time (several days), although they may also be repeated. These buildings are also offered as reward of finishing the construction of certain buildings within a certain period.
