The Sawmill is a Production Building that is located on the east side of the first game territory, and when the first territory is fully expanded is within the game territory. It was added during an update on XX.XX.2014.^[1]

A total of 96 assets are needed to complete construction of the Sawmill. This is equivalent to 105 if one were to buy every asset instead of waiting to receive them from neighbors.

Sawmill (Level 2)[]

Before the next level can be built, you must hire five neighbors to work at the sawmill in the following jobs:

Once this is done, the player is given access to several contracts, a population cap increase of 10,000 and, although Furniture Factories appear under a 'Production' tab, they cannot be built yet.

Automated Sawmill (Level 3)[]

The Automated Sawmill allows the player to build Furniture Factories.

Completion of the Automated Sawmill (Level 3) enables purchase of up to 5 Furniture Factories (from the Buildings tab). Completion of the Wood Processing Plant (Level 4) enables the Furniture Factories to be upgraded to Upgraded Furniture Factories.

Furniture Factory[]

Each Furniture Factory provides access to and a multiplier for the Case Furniture contract.

TIP
If you build a Furniture Factory before completing the Wood Processing Plant (Level 4), model neighbors may provide free daily assets toward upgrading the Furniture Factory, but you will not yet be able to do so.

Upgraded Furniture Factory[]

Completion of the Wood Processing Plant (Level 4) allows the Furniture Factories to be upgraded to Upgraded Furniture Factories.
