I still have access but (1) the table get slow until you load hundreds of buildings in it and (2) it's not adding all parameters to the "final string", for example the parameter "Ref". That's why I made my own table in the normal Excel with a simple VBA code. But if you want I can transfer all data to Excel online.
As much you worked on your nice template I prefer the infobox gallery because it's more portable and the design isn't bad, too. It would be better when the others decide. And I would pls you to let the galleries in the infobox until we aligned.
As you may have noticed, we have a working Google Translator button which works almost fine as of now. You can do it if you want. But unless you want to keep those pages updated regularly, I'd suggest you not to do it. Instead, you can improve translations on Google Translator.
I know that. I used infoicon for limiters, because you know they are info-with-an-icon. But I didn't knew that only icon appears on mobile. It's kinda stupid for wikia to remove text and just keep the icon.
You are right, I was against it but I found out the efficient way. All three points I mentioned are solved. 1. Using excel sheet for adding data easily. 2. Not many people do edit this wiki. 3. The functions are loaded once, so its fast enough!
It looks great, probably even better than the current version of galleries... But to be honest, I can't even imagine it on large-scale projects like Christmas Tree with 22 levels or Langobardia Residence with 11 levels...
Let's make a compromise: for all bldg pages the gallery should inside the infobox and for the special bldgs such as Langobardia Residence we use Qoushik's idea (max img in IB and rest on article zone)
Is that ok for all?
I've made a sample on the Langobardia Residence page. Check it out! I created a template which I can simplify so that we just have to input number of levels, and the gallery will be automatically generated. That for future.
The vertical tabber design I got from dev wiki. The module is actually tweaked from a non-wikia wiki; had to change a lot.
The mobile version displays the pictures, just not as a tabber format. I think it can be tweaked into a slideshow for mobile.
Here's the view from my mobile. https://goo.gl/photos/P2YsKEiCGmJgZ1wC9 (you'll have to zoom in a lot)
In my sandbox I've created a map of London with all of its RWB-buildings (2nd map is finalised). What would you think on adding this to the RWB: UK page under the London header and do this for every following city that will be added to such a age?
Seems to be a good idea as long as you are willing to do this. I added in your sandbox some parameters (go to "London Eye") which you should add to all bldgs in future. It would be enough to add only the name of the bldg. And I didn't copyrighted my user page design so it shouldn't be a big deal ;)
